It seems that the shenanigans in the Gambling Affiliate world are set to continue. According to a Gambling 911 report  there have been some secretive meetings at the CAC conference where people who were disgusted with the Casino Affiliate Programs method of doing business decided to set up a new forum . Apparently things are not going to well with all sorts of posts flying about between the protaganists of this new gambling affiliate forum.

It begs the question. Do we need yet another forum in this space trying to squeeze some more money out of operators. What will it bring to the table that existing forums do not already provide to Casino Affiliates and Poker Affiliates . Is this just a cynical attempt to try and control parts of this space.

This whole scenario is just getting to be so tiresome. I for one and sick and tired of the in fighting in the industry. We should be concentrating on the essentials. Affiliates should be providing advice to players on the best places to play and operators should be providing the right kind of environment to ensure that players are entertained. As for myself if i had to run a Gambling affiliate program right now there is no way i would put my money anywhere apart from back into incentives for my loyal hardworking affiliates. This whole Affiliate forum issue is becoming a cancer in our industry. There are guys who do a great job already like the GPWA , PAL and APCW . We do not need any more fights or time taken up with trivial issues when we should be concentrating on legitimizing our businesses further .

Lucky Ace Partners the 888 White Label is being rebranded as Platinum Affiliates. The change of name makes some sense as the original brand for the Casino Affiliate program does seem to be a little incongruous seeing that most webmasters work very hard and are definitely not very lucky despite the thoughts of a lot of people who think that Gambling webmasters attend conferences and drink a lot of beer.

To be fair to the Lucky Ace Partners team or as they are now known PlatinumAffiliates.com team they have not had any issues that have not been sorted out. They did have a spell where they went on a major spamming campaign and emailed affiliates every few days in an attempt to get them to promote their properties. I can tell you that in my case it certainly had the opposite effect. I decided not to promote them because of this behavior.

As they are a white label of the 888 Casino and Poker brands they are apparently going to be adding a bingo brand to the Affiliate program. No doubt it will be a Globalcom room - for those that don’t know the UK Bingo market is dominated by this particular software type and has amongst it the Wink Bingo and Posh Bingo rooms. We look forward to seeing what Platinum Affiliates will be bringing to the market.

According to the team at PlatinumAffiliates.com current webmasters at Lucky Ace partners do not need to do a thing apart from logging into the new URL. All else remains the same so there is no need to amend or change links. That does ease the work burden a little and earns them a few more kudos.
